Benzoin Absolute Oil has its resin yellow in color. But when it gets thickened and hardens, it appears brownish-red. The oil has a strong smell of vanilla, and is extremely aromatic; to taste, due to an acrid. It is used in perfume fixatives and is widely utilized in the perfumery industry.
